Based in Santa Fe for the Northern New Mexico Edition, a copy of Natural Awakenings was first seen by Jeff Browne, Publisher, on New Years Eve day 2004 in Naples, FL , while on vacation, and it was love at first sight! Naples is the headquarters office for the franchise company and home of magazine founder, Sharon Bruckman.

According to Jeff "I picked up a copy of the magazine for the first time in order to locate an advertiser that I had heard about in Naples, and at that point I had never before seen anything like Natural Awakenings, and from that moment on I couldn't put the magazine down. I wanted to know more, more, more! And here we are are are today!"

About Krista Jarrard, Marketing and Sales

Krista brings to Natural Awakenings a warm and wise heart, along with a background in alternative health, marketing, personal and spiritual growth. This union provides a unique synthesis that allows her to connect to the needs of her customers and create marketing strategies in alignment with their business vision.

Prior to NA, Krista's past career includes 13 years with a medical weight loss company, Lindora Medical Clinics, as program sales director. Prior to that Krista has 14 years experience in marketing and management with Tropicare, Inc.

In addition to her work with Natural Awakenings, Krista is a certified facilitator of Family Systemic Constellation Work, which grew from her 20 years of experience in the counseling and healing fields, offering monthly soul level workshops in Santa Fe.

Krista enjoys the arts, gardening and astrology, and feels blessed to be living in the Land of Enchantment. She resides in Eldorado with her terrier pup ZuZu.
